Uploading Documents
Add files to your Gover document library.
Supported Formats

Upload Methods
Single Upload
- Navigate to Documents
- Click Add Document
- Select Upload File
- Choose your file
- Fill in metadata:
- Title
- Description
- Category
- Click Upload
Drag and Drop
- Open the Documents page
- Drag files from your computer
- Drop onto the upload area
- Complete metadata for each file
Bulk Upload
- Click Add Document → Bulk Upload
- Select multiple files
- Review and edit metadata
- Confirm upload
Document Metadata
When uploading, provide:

File Size Limits
- Maximum file size: 50 MB
- For larger files, consider linking to external storage
Version Control
Upload new versions of existing documents:
- Open the document
- Click Upload New Version
- Select the updated file
- Add version notes
- Confirm
Previous versions are retained in history.
Best Practices
- Use clear names — Descriptive titles help findability
- Add descriptions — Summarize document contents
- Categorize consistently — Use standard categories
- Tag appropriately — Add relevant tags for search
- Version properly — Upload new versions, don't create duplicates
